Deborah Louise "Debbie" Shepherd, 73, of De Soto died April 26, 2025, at her home. Mrs. Shepherd worked as a front-end manager for Schnucks. She was a member of United Food Commercial Local 655. In her free time, she enjoyed going camping with her family, fishing and getting together with her Festus High School class of 1969 friends. Born May 22, 1951, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Henry and Esther (Schumer) Henry.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Bill Shepherd.
She is survived by three sons: Clinton (the late Michelle) Hastings of De Soto, Clayton (Lisa) Hastings of De Soto and Chad (Jeannette) Shepherd of Greeley, Colo.; a daughter: Angela (Matt) Piry of St. Louis; three brothers: Jeff Henry of Tulsa, Okla., Jerry (Kathy) Henry of Tulsa, Okla., and Don (Beth) Henry of Perryville; a sister: Sandy Henry of Festus; 12 grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers: Mike Henry, Bob Henry, Rick Henry and Roger Henry.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Saturday, May 3, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus. Inurnment will follow in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
