Christine "Chris" Limpert, 72, of Festus died Oct. 26, 2026. Mrs. Limpert was a retired secretary at State Farm Insurance. A Christian, she was a member of Good News Community Church. In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering at Pony Bird. Born Dec. 30, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Nelma (McCall) Mills and Harold Mills.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Gerald "Jerry" Limpert of Festus; three children: Cory (Danielle) Limpert, Christina (Brian) Wilson and Jerry (Laura) Newcom Jr.; eight grandchildren: Gracen, Maelyn, Declan, Raegan and Macie, all of Festus, and Laken, Lexie and Saydee, all of Heber Springs, Ark.; four great-grandchildren: Julian, Zaydence, Cohen and Hazyn, all of Heber Springs, Ark.; and two siblings: Gene (Diana) Mills and Marnita Mills.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from noon until a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at The Marquee on Main, 516 Bailey Road, in Crystal City, officiated by Steve Moreland. Flowers can be delivered to Marquee on Main from 10-11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, or memorials may be made to Pony Bird Inc. Cremation services were under the direction of St. Louis Cremation.
