Dennis Edward Wren, 69, of Fenton died Aug. 22, 2026. Mr. Wren was a Christian and served in the U.S. Army. Born July 23, 1957, he was the son of the late Glenda (Hutchinson) Wren and James Wren.
He is survived by his ex-spouse of 25 years: Ann (Messmer) Scales of Arnold; four children: Sarah (Ethan) Rayne of Albuquerque, N.M., Daniel Wren of Fenton, Elizabeth Boyd (Charles) Casagrande of Arnold and Rochelle Wren of Burgaw, N.C.; seven grandchildren: Cora McCallum, Renee Wren, Evan Wren, Gabriella Boyd, Zoey Boyd, Chloe Lewis and Emma Lewis; three siblings: Cindy Frailey of Benton, Darrell (Sandra) Wren of Jones, Okla., and Jennifer (Ronald) Garner of Ocala, Fla.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: James T. Wren and David Wren.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Crosspoint Church, 5001 Little Rock Road, in Concord, officiated by Pastor TJ Anslinger.
