Michael Lee Hutson, 66, of Festus died June 30, 2020, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Hutson worked as a foreman for Pingel Exchanger Services in Pevely for 15 years until his retirement in 2013. He was a member of Mississippi River Eagles, Meramec/Arnold Elks Lodge 2372 in Arnold and American Legion Post 253 in Festus. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends. Born Jan. 5, 1954, in Perryville, he was the son of the late Thomas Benjamin and Mildred Jean (Tedder) Hutson. He was preceded in death by his wife: Judith Diane Hutson.
He is survived by a son: Anthony Hutson of De Soto; a daughter: Jennifer (Louis) Rizzuti of Festus; three siblings: Laura Tindall, Ron (Susan) Hutson and Mari Hutson, all of St. Louis; four grandchildren: Lexi (Tyler), Jackson, Jacob and Millie; a great-grandson: Greyson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Susan Wilson; and a brother: Daniel (Connie) Hutson.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
