Mary Ann Wood, 66, of Bismarck died April 14, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Ms. Wood was a retired administrative assistant for Southwestern Bell/AT&T and a local real estate investor. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City. Born March 29, 1956, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Helen “Chic” (Bradford) and Darrell Leigh Casper.
She is survived by a son: Gary (Jacki) Wood Jr.; two grandchildren: Parker and Vivian Wood; her companion: Lynn Bone of Bismarck; and six siblings: Carol (Steve) Gray of Festus, Suzanne Risinger of Arnold, Anna (Kevin) Hubbard of Springfield, Roseann (Jim) Swyers of Festus, Terry Casper of Cadet and Joe (Jeanne) Casper of Florida.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Gene “Darrell” (the late Barbara) Casper and Alan Casper.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 21, at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
