Brutcher, LeRoy

LeRoy “Porkie” Brutcher Jr., 67, of House Springs died June 18, 2015, at his home. Mr. Brutcher was a floor layer and a member of Fenton Crossing Bible Chapel. He was an avid bowler ho rolled multiple 300 games and was the first bowler in Jefferson County to carry a 200 average. After retirement, he enjoyed fishing and spending time at the lake with his wife. Born Oct. 21, 1947, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late LaVerne (Duncan) and LeRoy Brutcher Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Doris (Pink) Brutcher of House Springs; three children: Randall (Wendy) Brutcher, Angela (Delbert) Horn and Pamula Marlow; six siblings: Jackie Schroeder, Karen (David) Nickels, Pat (Fred) Blumer, Alice (Rick) Sellers, George Brutcher and Dan (Mary) Brutcher; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, June 26, at Fenton Crossing Bible Chapel, 855 Gregory Lane, in Fenton. That same day, a celebration of life ceremony will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Arnold Elks Lodge, 1515 Miller Road, in Imperial.
