Judith Ann Kattengell, 81, of Arnold died Oct. 15, 2020, at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley in Fenton. Mrs. Kattengell was a longtime employee of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial, Oak Bridge Community Church in Arnold, the Kimmswick Historical Society and the St. Joseph Prime Timers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, sewing, reading, puzzles and traveling. Born Sept. 2, 1939, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Louise (Weck) and Owen Hensley.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Kattengell Sr.
She is survived by a daughter: Judith Ann (Jimmy) Smith of Moss, Tenn.; a son: Dennis (Lisa) Kattengell of Pevely; four grandchildren: Joseph Smith, Jacinda (Tim) Delk, Jennifer (Steven) Ijames and Ryan Kattengell; and eight great-grandchildren: Colton, Corbin, Darci and Clayton Smith, Addison and Grayson Delk and Carter and Riley Ijames.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Olga Kattengell.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Tim Delk. Burial will be in Rauschenbach Cemetery in Imperial. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home.
