Joyce M. Pittman, 86, of Eureka died Oct. 17, 2021. Mrs. Pittman was a nurse and a member of Central Baptist Church in Eureka. She was a master instructor in oil painting and sent inspirational brochures to shut-ins of the church. She enjoyed flying planes, riding horses and motorcycles. She was born July 4, 1935, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of the late Charles and Lula Mae Goodwin.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 61 years: Arlin C. Pittman Jr., whom she married March 14, 1952.
She is survived by three children: Kathy (Lynn) Stevens, Debi (Ken) Wilkey and Arlin (Regina) C. Pittman III; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-children; and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Jerry Goodwin; and a daughter: Linda (Steve) Foster.
Graveside services will be held later at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Catawissa. Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, 601 N. Central Ave., Eureka 63025. Arrangements are under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home, Eureka.
