Joyce A. Turner, 83, of De Soto died May 19, 2020, at the Villas StoneBridge skilled nursing center in De Soto. Mrs. Turner was a retired certified nursing assistant. Born August 24, 1936, in Kimmswick, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Crippen and Harold Bieler.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James R. Turner.
She is survived by five children: Ronald Chamness of Richwoods, Jeannie (the late Richard) Olson of Festus, Kathleen (Ronald) Cox of Pevely, Yvonne (Michael) Parr of Bloomsdale and Charlotte (James) Kertz of De Soto; a sister: Lois (Terry) Woods of High Ridge; a brother: Danny Crippen of St. Louis; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Michael Chamness; a sister: Norma Rapp; and a granddaughter: Jessica Olson.
A private memorial will be held.
