Hal Paul Rees, 55, of Cedar Hill died Dec.19, 2022, in Cedar Hill. Born April 8, 1967, in Kirkwood, he was the son of Harold (Linda Lynch-Rees) Rees and the late Mary Goucher.

He is survived by his partner: Karen LeGere; three children: Ashley and Emily Rees and Jessica Griffin; nine siblings: Rosetta Conway, Ida Jean Denney, Grady Lynch III, Christina Haase, and James, Scott, Renee, Wesley and Rebecca Rees; two grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to a local food bank or homeless shelter. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
