Ellen Schrameyer, 95, of De Soto died Nov. 8, 2020, at The Villas in De Soto. Mrs. Schrameyer worked at the De Soto Shoe Factory. Born Sept. 15, 1925, in Harvel, she was the daughter of the late William and Lessie (York) Coonce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Cotton” Schrameyer.
She is survived by two children: Donald Schrameyer and Keith Schrameyer; two siblings: Lettie (Bud) Tyner and Betty (Claude) Pierce; four grandchildren: Tim, Paul J., Desiree and Dusdea; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Teresa Huskey; and seven brothers: Carl, Willie, Willard, Hugh, Howard, Virgil and Michael Coonce.
A funeral service was held Nov. 13 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Ron Kulp. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
