Danny Lee Gray, 61, of Barnhart died July 19, 2017, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Gray was a mechanic and a member of the Baptist faith. Born April 3, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late JoAnn Gwen and William Herbert Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Sherry (Brown) Gray; two children: Sherry Gray of Barnhart and Misty (Bill) Whetstone of Barnhart; two siblings: Alice “Sissy” Fehlker of Barnhart and Linda Helms of Crystal City; and seven grandchildren: Austin Perrone, Micheal Perrone, Anthony Perrone, Gavyn Whetstone, Tyler Whetstone, Jessica Gary and Justin Simmons
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Willie Gray, Dewey Gray, Sue Oliphant and Cleola Gray.
A celebration of life is scheduled at 3 p.m. Friday, July 28, at the American Legion Hall in Imperial, followed by a potluck dinner at 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
