Lang, Butch

Charlie “Butch” Lang, 68, of House Springs died Sept. 1, 2015, in Fenton. Mr. Lang was a member of American Legion Post 783. Born Aug. 7, 1947, in St. Louis, he was the son of Charles F. and Pauline E. (Pleimann) Lang of Arnold.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Patsy Ann (Lathim) Lang of House Springs;

two sons: Shawn C. (the late Christine “Cricky”) Lang of Arnold and Kyle P. (Shannon) Lang of High Ridge; a daughter: Heather J. Lang of House Springs; six grandchildren: Katlyn B. Lang, Tristan L. Jacobson, Logan R. Jacobson, Tyler N. Lang, Melina G. Lang and Peyton E. Lang; and six siblings: Nancy Withey, Steve Lang, Janice Ott, Brenda Schmidt, Fred Lang and Mary Potts.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Karen D. Lang.

Visitation is scheduled from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Boulevard, in Arnold. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 7, at St. John Catholic Church, 4525 Old State Route 21, in Imperial, officiated by Father Rich Coerver. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to Pathways Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
