Bonnie J. (Yount) Berry, 79, House Springs

Bonnie J. (Yount) Berry, 79, of House Springs died Oct. 25, 2022, in House Springs. Mrs. Berry worked as an administrative assistant, home health care provider and Realtor and had a long, successful career with Century 21. She loved the outdoors and had a passion for gardening. She created a garden oasis for birds and butterflies, and she built feeders for birds. She also was an avid reader and liked books about the adventure, survival, heroism and rise of an underdog. She will be remembered for her big heart and willingness to care for others. Born April 10, 1943, in Hillsboro, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late James and Mildred (Moss) Yount.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years: Donald Berry; two children: Bryan and Jeffrey Berry; one grandchild: Jessica Berry; three siblings: Judy Caluetti, Jim (Catha) Yount and Dan Yount; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by a sibling: Imogene Barlow; and a grandchild: Austin Berry.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the funeral service at 7 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
