Barbara Dianne Fielder, 75, of Herculaneum died Dec. 17, 2015, at Scenic View Nursing Home in Herculaneum. Mrs. Fielder taught for 18 years in the Sunrise R-9 School District and was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association and Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. Born Nov. 3, 1940, in Gideon, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Hazel (White) Thompson.
She is survived by two sons: Bryan (Sharon) Fielder of Hillsboro and Brett Fielder of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; a granddaughter: Kristi Boyd of Perryville; a grandson: Trevor (Charlotte) Fielder of Amelia, Ohio; two great-grandchildren: Emma Boy and Gavin Wucher; and an aunt: Ermagene Rogers of Columbus, Miss.
Funeral services were held Dec. 20 at Mahn De Soto Chapel, officiated by Pastor Dave Evans. Burial was in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Ware. Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
