Anna Lee (Mearseal) Bequette, 90, of High Ridge died May 30, 2023, in High Ridge. Mrs. Bequette enjoyed cooking, embroidering, crocheting, quilting and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and babysitting her grandchildren and great-grandson. She will be remembered for her big heart and loving personality. Born Aug. 14, 1932, in Bliss, she was the daughter of the late Virgie (Boyer) and Thomas Mearseal.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Robert Bequette.
She is survived by a daughter: Myshell (Marcus) Brown; three grandchildren: Joshua (Ashley) Hulsey, and Christopher and Shauna Brown; a great-grandson: Dylan Hulsey; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers: Marvin and Jerry; and two sisters: Geraldine and Eleanor.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A graveside service will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
