Rev up your brain and get your thinking caps adjusted – it’s time for Twin City Days Trivia!
After a year off due to the pandemic, the annual trivia contest, organized by Leader Publications, is back.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the trivia contest will start at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Festus High School, 501 Westwind Drive.
Teams of up to eight players will answer questions for a chance to win prizes and glory.
Entry costs $10 per person, and advance registration is recommended. Those who wish to play but are not part of an organized team are welcome to come and join with other solo players. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
Proceeds from the event will benefit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Jefferson County, a program that provides support to children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, including more than 700 Jefferson County children in foster care.
Between rounds, there will be attendance prize giveaways, games like “heads or tails" and other fun activities.
Snacks like popcorn and pretzels will be provided. Soft drinks, water and candy will be sold by CASA volunteers. Outside food and drinks are allowed, but alcohol and tobacco are prohibited.
For more information or to register, call the Leader at 636-931-7560 or email news@leaderpublications.biz.
