The city of Arnold will accept applications for utility tax rebates this month, with an April 30 deadline to apply.
City residents who are 62 years or older or certified as totally disabled and who have a total household income not exceeding $30,000 may be eligible for the rebate.
Only Arnold city residents who pay an Arnold tax on their utility bills are eligible to receive the rebate, which covers the period between September 2019 and February 2020.
Applications were made available on Wednesday, April 1. The applications may be picked up in the Arnold Police Department lobby, 2101 Jeffco Blvd., and are available on the city’s website at arnoldmo.org.
Several documents must be submitted along with the application, including a driver’s license or some other proof of age, as well as proof of total yearly income, paid gas and/or electric bills between September 2019 and this February and proof of residency. Those who are disabled must include a recent letter of disability and a copy of a check from Social Security.
