A large TV and smart phone were stolen from a home in the 4600 block of Karie Lane in Barnhart, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The burglary was reported at about 9:30 a.m. Sept. 3.
It looked like someone may have used a screwdriver to open the front door and then stole a Vizio 42-inch TV and a Samsung Galaxy S5 and tampered with a jewelry box. Altogether, the stolen items and damage were estimated at $780, the report said.
Fingerprints were taken at the scene.
As of Friday (Sept. 12), the stolen items had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, said Capt. Ron Arnhart of the Sheriff’s Office.
