Festus Police arrested a 43-year-old St. Louis man for allegedly driving with a suspended license after the pickup he was driving on I-55 collided with a tractor-trailer. No injuries were reported, Festus Police Capt. Doug Wendel said.
The accident occurred at about 7:40 a.m. Nov. 2, when the suspect was driving south on the interstate in the left lane and reportedly swerved into the right lane before the pickup struck the left rear side of the tractor-trailer, Wendel said.
He said he did not know the year, make or model for the pickup or the tractor-trailer. He also said he did not have information about the driver of the tractor-trailer, or the extent of the damage to the vehicles.
Wendel said the suspect was driving with a suspended license and was arrested.
