A speedboat, motor and trailer recently were stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Tinhouse Road in the Hillsboro area. The theft happened between 1 p.m. Oct. 14 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 15, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports.
The 1998 22-foot Baja speedboat is white with red and black stripes. That, along with the inboard motor and black Baja boat trailer, were valued at $35,000, the report said.
As of Oct. 26, the boat and other items had not been recovered. There were no suspects or arrests either, said Detective Sgt. James Kausler.
