The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of seven vehicles that occurred over a three-week period and was reported Feb. 16 at Bistate Towing and Transportation in Imperial.
A 2011 Land Rover Range Rover, 2014 Infiniti QX70, 2021 Mercedes Benz GLA, 2006 Cadillac STS, 2015 Hyundai Sonata, 2018 Kia Optima and 2007 Saab 9-3 were stolen from the company’s lot at 4956 Sean Drive, authorities reported.
All the vehicles were salvaged vehicles that the company owned due to them being left on the lot for extended periods. Values for the stolen vehicles were not reported.
As of Feb. 20, none of the vehicles had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
