A 17-year-old Arnold man’s pickup reportedly was stolen after he parked it outside a Chinese restaurant in Arnold where he works. The teenager’s wallet, tools and a Chromebook that the Fox C-6 School District had issued him were inside the pickup at the time, Arnold Police reported.
The teen parked his 2001 Dodge Ram outside the Panda Express restaurant, 3880 Hwy. 141, at about 4 p.m. Sept. 3. He discovered the pickup was gone at about 6:20 p.m., the report said.
The victim said he locked the pickup’s doors, and he had the keys. The Ram was worth about $10,000, and together the wallet, tools and Chromebook were valued at about $525, Arnold Police reported.
As of Sept. 6, the pickup and missing items had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Det. Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the theft should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
