Arnold Police are investigating a report that a pickup was damaged and items were stolen from it while it was parked outside Home Depot, 3865 Vogel Road. The cost to repair the 2001 Ford F-150 and replace the stolen items was estimated at $6,650, police reported.
A 35-year-old Cedar Hill man flagged down a police cruiser at about 2:05 p.m. Jan. 8 and told the officer that he had been shopping at the store and when he returned to his pickup, he found the ignition had been damaged. In addition, the backup camera and catalytic converter were missing from the pickup, the report said.
As of Jan. 14, none of the stolen items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
