A pickup and a car were stolen from outside a home in the 3200 block of Rock Creek Road in High Ridge. Together, the vehicles were valued at $14,000, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim told deputies he returned home at about 11 a.m. Oct. 22 and noticed the basement door to his home was open and the keys to the vehicles that normally hung on a hook inside his home were missing. He said he believed the doors to his house and the vehicles had been locked, the report said.
He said a blue 2003 Ford F-350 pickup and a white 2003 Volkswagen Jetta were missing, too. In addition, he said a tool box was stolen from outside his home, adding that he may have left a Glock pistol in one of the vehicles, according to the report.
Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said Oct. 28 that the stolen items had not been recovered and no arrests had been made. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau at 636-797-5515.
