Festus Police are investigating the recent theft of a youth four-wheeler from outside a home in the 300 block of Henry Street. A 32-year-old woman reported the theft on Aug. 25, Chief Doug Wendel said.
“It was stolen about 3:10 a.m. that day,” Wendel said. “It’s her son’s. It was left in the front yard. The key was left in it.
“They had video, but you can’t make it out well. It looks like a male in jeans and boots pushes it onto Henry and down the street.“
Wendel said the four-wheeler is red, but he did not have any other information about the vehicle.
As of Aug. 29, the item had not been recovered and no arrests had been made, Wendel said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Festus Police at 636-937-3646.
