Terry C. Fults, 65, of Dittmer has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for molesting a girl who was 13 at the time, according to court records.
Fults pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree statutory sodomy, an unclassified felony, and one count of first-degree child molestation, a class B felony, and on Oct. 30, Jefferson County Div. 6 Circuit Judge Troy Cardona sentenced him to 15 years in prison for each charge. However, the two prison terms will be served concurrently, or at the same time, court documents show.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Travis D. Partney handled the case.
In January 2018, Fults admitted to authorities that he sexually molested the girl twice between Aug. 1, 2015, and Sept. 30, 2015, the probable-cause statement in the case said.
Fults currently is in the Eastern Reception Diagnostic Correctional Center in Bonne Terre.
