The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of tools and other items from construction trailers at a Fenton-area retaining wall company. Stolen items included compressors, hand tools, toolboxes and a heater, altogether valued at $4,250, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.

The items were stolen between Oct. 30 and Dec. 28, when several trailers were broken into at the Missouri Boulder Retaining Wall Co., 220 Sunset View Drive, in unincorporated Fenton. The report does not indicate how the trailers were broken into, Bissell said.

As of Jan. 7, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Bissell said. Anyone with information about the theft should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
