Arnold Police are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter from a pickup that was parked outside of Plaza Tire Service, 301 Plaza Way, in Arnold. The theft occurred during the overnight hours between March 15 and March 16, police reported.
A 33-year-old Imperial man left his 2008 Dodge Ram 4500 to be worked on at the shop. An employee called police on March 23 when it was discovered that the catalytic converter had been stolen, the report said.
Arnold Police did not know the value of the catalytic converter or how much it would cost to repair the pickup.
As of April 1, the catalytic converter had not been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
