Arnold Police are investigating damage to a car parked outside a home in the 200 block of Crosswinds Drive. The car’s steering column was damaged, but nothing was stolen from the vehicle, police reported.

A 77-year-old Arnold woman told police she parked the gray 2016 Kia Soul outside her home at about 8 p.m. Aug. 6 and discovered the damage at about 12:20 p.m. Aug. 7. The woman told police she left the car unlocked, the report said.

The cost to repair the steering column was estimated at about $1,000, Arnold Police reported.

As of Aug. 9, no suspects had been identified, Det. Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
