A fire the morning of July 10 destroyed a Ford Mustang and damaged two other vehicles outside the Richardson Place Apartments in the 1900 block of Richardson Place Drive in Arnold, the Rock Community Fire Protection District reported.
The fire district got a call 4:27 a.m. about the fire, and firefighters arrived at the scene at 4:35 a.m. Fire Marshal Jeff DeLapp said the fire was under control in about five minutes.
The Mustang’s engine compartment and front tires were destroyed. The vehicles parked on each side of the Mustang sustained minimal damage from the heat of the fire, the report said.
The make and models of the vehicles damaged by the blaze were not reported.
DeLapp said the cause of the fire is unknown.
