A 34-year-old Arnold woman and a 33-year-old House Springs man recently were arrested during a traffic stop at Arnold Commons Drive and Church Road, according to Arnold Police.

Just after 10:30 p.m. Jan. 21, an Arnold Police Officer pulled over the woman, who was driving, because the license plates on her vehicle had been reported stolen in May from a vehicle parked at an auto dealership on Jeffco Boulevard in Arnold, Detective Lt. James Jones said.

The House Springs man was a passenger in the vehicle, and he was wanted in Jefferson County on outstanding warrants for misdemeanor counterfeiting and felony marijuana possession, Jones said.

The stolen license plate was seized as evidence, and the woman was booked, issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for possession of stolen property and released. The man was released at the scene to the Sheriff’s Office, the report said.
