A 45-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, both of Arnold, recently were arrested for allegedly assaulting each other while they were staying at WoodSpring Suites, 888 Arnold Commons. The incident happened about 2:15 a.m. May 5, Arnold Police report.
The two were boyfriend and girlfriend, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said the man ended up with a minor cut on his chin, and the woman had a bruise on her forehead and cut on her face.
The woman was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, and the man was held at the Arnold Jail for 12 hours and then released.
They both were issued summonses to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for assault, Jones said.
