A 34-year-old Arnold man who was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants allegedly was found with a substance believed to be fentanyl, Arnold Police reported.
At about 12:30 p.m. Nov. 4, an Arnold Police officer saw the man in a 2019 Ford Edge in the 1800 block of Ozark Drive. The officer knew the man was wanted on warrants for felony drug possession and a probation violation and pulled him over, the report said.
The officer allegedly found 13 capsules with a white powder inside them and 14 capsules with a white-powdery residue inside them in the man’s pants’ pocket. The man complained he was having chest pain and was taken to an area hospital, where it was determined he was fit for confinement, according to the report.
He was then transported to the Jefferson County Jail. Depending on results of the drug analysis, Arnold Police will seek charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for possession of a controlled substance, Capt. Rich Shular said.
