A 36-year-old Arnold man was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated following an accident near the intersection of Telegraph Road and Bayshore Parkway in Arnold, police reported.
At about 10:45 p.m. Oct. 24, the man was driving a 2022 Kia Forte north on Telegraph Road. He crossed the road and ran into a utility pole near the intersection, the report said.
The man appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested before being transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. He was treated and released from the hospital, according to the report.
The Kia was extensively damaged, the report said.
The man was issued a summons to appear in Arnold Municipal Court for alleged DWI, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said.
