Pevely Days enjoyed large crowds thanks in no small part to clear skies and tolerable temperatures, organizers said.
The 2026 version of the city-sponsored event took place Aug. 20-22, largely at Pevely City Park.
“We had good crowds, better than last year,” said Linda Miles, Pevely’s deputy city clerk and an event organizer. “Last year, we had around 18,000 for the three days. We had good weather all three days – not too hot.”
The annual festival offered live music, carnival rides and games, food and craft vendors and a free petting zoo. Other activities included mechanical bull rides, pony rides, a bubble party, free caricatures and a cornhole tournament, among others. Festivities concluded with a fireworks display Saturday night.
Live music was provided by EARCANDY on Thursday, All4Nothin on Friday and Steve Kirn during the day Saturday and Crossroads in the evening.
“Our bands did a great job,” Miles said. “We got a lot of positive feedback on them.”
Festival attendees could visit a wide variety of food and craft booths, Miles said.
“We had 91 booths,” she said. “That’s a little more than last year. We had some new food booths, including more local vendors.”
A related event, a vehicle show hosted by the St. Louis Stangs Mustang Club, took place along Pevely Main Street and also solicited excellent participation, she said.
“There were 168 cars in the car show Saturday morning,” she said. “That’s a huge turnout.”
She praised city employees who worked the festival.
“We have a great team from the Pevely staff,” she said.
Miles said city officials were pleased overall with Pevely Days.
“Everything went great,” she said. “We’re very happy.”
She said dates for the next Pevely Days festival are scheduled for Aug. 19-21, 2027.
