The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) was to fully close Sunridge Trail at Truman Boulevard (Hwy. 61-67) in Crystal City as of this morning, Oct. 5, until 5 a.m. Oct. 14, and also will close a section of Truman Boulevard near Sunridge Trail from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Oct. 14-15, all for drainage installation.
These are new dates for the projects after postponement due to weather concerns.
Motorists may use Missouri Avenue to access Sunridge Trail to navigate around the Sunridge Trail closure and the Hwy. A exit in Festus to northbound I-55 to McNutt Street in Herculaneum to navigate around the Hwy. 61-67 closure, department officials said in a written statement.
Message boards will alert drivers to the closure. All work is weather permitting.
