The Mastodon Art and Science Regional Fair Family Day will be held Saturday at the Jefferson College Field House, 1000 Viking Drive, in Hillsboro, with a variety of activities planned throughout the day.
Projects may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and students with art projects in the fair will stand by them from 9-10 a.m., so people may talk to the students about their projects at that time. Students with science projects in the fair will be with them from 10:15-11:15 a.m.
A sponsor recognition program will be from 11:30 a.m. to noon.
Free hands-on activities will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, and the fair store will be open those same hours. A dinosaur egg hunt, which costs $5 to participate, will be from 9 a.m. to noon
The MASRF Awards Ceremony is scheduled the following week, at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at the Field House.
