The Festus City Council meeting of April 27, paused due to tornado warnings, is scheduled to resume at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at Festus City Hall, 711 W. Main St.
The April 27 meeting was halted during its public comments part of the meeting. Mayor Sam Richards said the meeting will resume at that point and the three remaining citizens who signed up to speak but who did not get a chance when the meeting was halted will be given the opportunity to speak.
Votes on Benjamin DeClue as the new city administrator and Aaron Pashia to fill the City Council Ward 2 position vacated by Staci Templeton remain on the agenda.
