Only voters in one of Herculaneum’s three wards will have a choice on April 2 when it comes to choosing a representative on the Board of Aldermen.

In Ward 3, Edwin Eugene Edwards Jr. is seeking a fifth two-year term on the board but he faces a challenge from newcomer Todd Hogan.

Neither returned a Leader candidate questionnaire.

Longtime members Dennis Tesreau in Ward 1 and Christopher R. Baker in Ward 2 will be sworn in after the election to new terms.

Aldermen are paid $200 per month.

In addition, longtime municipal judge Robert Scott Harness is running unopposed for a new two-year term.
