Three juveniles and a St. Charles man were injured in a crash involving a school bus on Hwy. 30 and Local Hillsboro Road in Cedar Hill near Northwest High School, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 2:46 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, Angela R. Webb, 44, of Arnold was driving a 2015 ICCO PB105 school bus and attempted to turn onto westbound Hwy. 30. Timothy A. Kopecky, 38, driving a 2000 Ford Expedition, allegedly ran a red light on eastbound Hwy. 30 and struck the left rear of the bus, the report said.
According to the report, Kopecky was moderately injured, and two 13-year-old girls and a 16-year-old girl received minor injuries. All were taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where Kopecky was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the report, Kopecky and Webb were wearing seat belts. The Ford was totaled and the bus was moderately damaged.
The patrol did not release the teens’ names because they are juveniles.
