Three people were injured at 12:35 p.m. Jan. 22 in a two-vehicle accident at Hwy. M and Moss Hollow Road in Barnhart, the Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Terry L. Creek, 48, of Piedmont was driving a southbound 2015 Chevrolet Malibu and tried to cross the highway, traveling into the path of a westbound 2014 Ford Transit driven by Maria T. Mount, 65, of Imperial, the report said.
Creek and Mount both were moderately injured. A passenger in the Malibu – Terry L. Creek, 27, of Festus – had minor injuries, according to the report.
All three were taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where both the Creeks were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
However, the Mercy spokesman said the hospital had no information about Mount.
Everyone involved was wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged, the report said.
