A St. Charles man was hurt this morning, July 9, in a motorcycle accident on Hwy. NN in the western part of the Cedar Hill area.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Kalyan Pothabathula, 31, was riding a 2002 Honda CBR650 south on Hwy. NN north of Salamone Road at 9:35 a.m. when the Honda went off the right side of the road and overturned, throwing Pothabathula off.
He suffered moderate injuries and was taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
He was wearing a state-approved safety helmet, the report said.
The Honda was totaled in the crash, according to the report.
