Donna R. Laird, 71, of Cedar Hill was hurt Friday afternoon (March 17) in a one-vehicle accident on Hillsboro House Springs Road south of Hickory Grove Lane in the Hillsboro area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 2:36 p.m., Laird was driving a 1998 Jeep Cherokee north on Hillsboro House Springs Road, and the Jeep ran off the right side of the road, struck a barbed-wire fence and tree and then two flat-bed trailers in a driveway, the report said.
Laird was moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Jeep was extensively damaged, the report said.
