Ann Radeackar, 69, of Cedar Hill was killed Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. B south of Simpson Hill Drive near Cedar Hill. The occupants of the vehicle that struck hers fled the scene, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:35 p.m. Radeackar was driving a 2012 Mini Cooper Clubman south on the highway and while attempting to turn left into a private driveway, she pulled into the path of a northbound 2009 Ford Fusion that struck the Mini Cooper, the report said.
Radeackar was pronounced dead at the scene and was taken to the St. Louis County Morgue.
According to the Highway Patrol, the man who was driving the Ford and his passenger fled the scene on foot. The highway patrol could not be reached this morning, Sept. 14, for more information.
Radeackar was wearing a seat belt, and both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
