The Jefferson College Theatre Department is performing the ancient Greek tragedy, “Antigone,” this weekend at the Fine Art Theatre on the Hillsboro campus, 1000 Viking Drive.
Show times are 8 p.m. today and Saturday (Feb. 17-18) and 2 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 19).
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.
The show is a reworking of the classic, which tells the story of “Antigone,” who fights to give her brother proper funeral rites, which “sparks a family feud that pits father against son, sister against sister, and civil law against the gods.”
