Spotlight Community Theatre will present the black comedy “Arsenic and Old Lace” tonight, Oct 9, through Sunday at The Contrarian Concert Hall & Theater in Festus.
“‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ has kept me laughing since I was first introduced to it in high school,” said the production’s director, Brandon Dougherty of Crystal City. “This cast has been killing it and I’m excited to bring this hilarious bit of madness to Spotlight audiences.”
Show times are 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at the theater, 125 E. Main St. Tickets cost $15 and are available through spotlightjeffco.ludus.com, or they may be purchased at the door.

The cast and crew come from all around Jefferson County and beyond.
Cast members include Eric Haynes and Sean Maloney of Arnold; Dale Michaelis of Barnhart; Abigail Kaster of Cape Girardeau; Jim Siebert of Crystal City; Robert Jones of De Soto; Angel Bailey, Lynn Siebert and Nick Sullivan of Festus; Angie Ruble of Hillsboro; and Caleb Potter, Mikee Oegario, Natalie Smith, Zachary Robinson and Zane Moore of St. Louis.
