A Snowball Scramble fundraising golf tournament will be held Dec. 9 at Sugar Creek Golf Course, 5224 Country Club Drive, in High Ridge to benefit the New Hope Outreach Center, which is working to help those who are homeless.
Organizers are seeking sponsors for the 18-hole, four-person scramble that will include 120 players. Breakfast and registration will be at 9 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
Entry costs $30 a player or $120 for a four-person team and includes breakfast and dinner, along with soft drinks and cocoa. A cash bar will be available.
Sponsorships cost $5,000 for the Snowball level, which includes entry for two teams of four players and the sponsor’s name on a hole; $2,500 for the Fire Pit level, which includes entry for one team of four players and the sponsor’s name at a fire pit; and $1,000 for the Frosty level and $500 for Olaf level, both of which include sponsorship recognition in social media and the newspaper.
It costs $750 to sponsor the beverage cart with the sponsor’s name on the cart during the tournament. Hole sponsorships also are available for $100, which gets the sponsor’s name on the hole.
“Every penny raised or donated will go directly to helping the unhoused population right here in Jefferson County,” said Casey Kindt, executive director for the New Hope Outreach Center. “Besides raising money, this will be a fun tournament.”
