The homecoming football game will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the high school, where the Lions will take on the Hazelwood West Wildcats. Admission will cost $5 for adults and $3 for students. The high school marching band and the Northwest Lionettes dance team will perform at halftime.

The homecoming king and queen will be announced at the dance on Saturday evening, Oct. 12.

Homecoming king candidates are seniors Austin Devereaux, Wes Knuckles, Trevor Loeffelman and Cooper Viehland. Queen candidates are seniors Raegan Shelton, Alexa Layton, Lyla Lehnhoff and Ella Kovac.

Other homecoming court members include juniors Hunter Williams and Mackenzie Hauler; sophomores Riley Strauser and Addison Murphy; and freshmen Cayden Richard and Maiya Green.

Festivities began Oct. 6 when the school held its third annual homecoming parade along High Ridge Boulevard. The parade featured members of school clubs and organizations, sports teams, and the Spirit of Northwest Marching Band marching or riding on floats.
