North Jefferson County Ambulance District’s Halloween movie night is making a comeback this month after taking a few years off, Chief Jamie Guinn said.
He said the ambulance district regularly held movie screenings before the COVID-19 pandemic.
For the revived movie night, the 2003 film “Haunted Mansion” will be shown at 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the ambulance district’s Station 1, at 3131 Rock Creek Road in High Ridge.
The movie follows a Realtor, played by Eddie Murphy, who becomes trapped inside a spooky mansion along with his wife, played by Marsha Thomason, and their children, played by Marc John Jefferies and Aree Davis. The movie is rated PG.
Guinn said the event is open to the public, and admission is free.
Parking will be available across Hwy. 30 at the Jefferson County Library Northwest branch, 5680 Hwy. PP.
Guinn said the ambulance district will provide a shuttle to safely take attendees from the library to the station. Attendees should line up on the sidewalk in front of the library to board the shuttle.
If the weather forecast calls for rain, the movie night will be moved inside the ambulance bay, Guinn said. Otherwise, attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the movie under the stars.
For more information, call the ambulance district at 636-677-3399.
“We want the kids to come with their families and enjoy a good evening,” Guinn said. “There will be popcorn and drinks, and we’ll have candy bags for the kids.”
